Journey to Ithaca

Living in European exile after Turkey's 1980 military coup, an author looks back on his youth in Istanbul and confronts the isolation of displacement. Using a question-and-answer format, the autobiographical novel follows his movements across foreign cities as he questions aging, memory, and whether an exiled writer can ever truly return home.
