Wounded Love

During the tumultuous years of the Allied occupation of Izmir and the Turkish War of Independence, Ottoman major Cevdet is believed to have died on the battlefield. Years later, he reemerges wearing the uniform of the invading Greek army as a high-ranking officer. Concealing his secret mission as an undercover patriot working for the resistance, Cevdet must navigate deadly political intrigues while enduring the sorrow of his estranged wife Azize and their children, who brand him a traitor to the motherland.
