A World History of Second Sons

In 1982 South Korea, ordinary taxi driver Na Bok-man finds himself inadvertently ensnared in the aftermath of the Busan American Cultural Center arson. Targeted by authoritarian state security forces who need a scapegoat, he is arrested and pressured into a fabricated espionage confession. As he desperately tries to prove his innocence under Chun Doo-hwan's military dictatorship, his struggle spirals into an absurd, heartbreaking collision between an ordinary citizen and state violence.
