• A wonderful book. The experimental binding, Russian rubi glosses, the sheer richness of the stories, the strange presence of a human skull in the author's household raised by dentist parents, and above all, the exceptionally unique worldview of this collection itself. While it can be read as gender literature, I was deeply moved by its boundary-crossing style.

• Ten cold, chilling, and eerie short stories. Even without the label of being shortlisted for the Booker Prize, the intriguing title alone would have made me pick it up. As noted in the author's afterword, this revised edition was released after the Booker recognition. First published in 2017, Cursed Bunny was translated by Anton Hur—whom Chung met at the Wow Book Festival—and published abroad, leading to major international acclaim.

• The unique atmosphere blending reality and fantasy left a deep impression on me. Bizarre and eerie events unfold within seemingly ordinary situations, sharply exposing human desire and the dark underbelly of society. Each short story carries a powerful message that kept me completely immersed throughout, offering a refreshingly distinct experience from conventional fiction.

• I had been eager to read Bora Chung's Cursed Bunny, but it was out of print until this revised edition came out, so I purchased it immediately. It's slightly bizarre, but so thrilling that I couldn't put it down and devoured it in a single sitting. It was such an entertaining read. This was my first time reading Bora Chung, and I've found another favorite author to cherish. I will definitely be keeping up with all of her future books!

• Instead of being merely intellectual metaphors, Bora Chung's stories succeed at being deeply visceral experiences that do what the best fairy tales do: convey the unspeakable in a way that is nevertheless collectively understood.
