Open Water

In South East London, an unnamed photographer and a dancer meet at a pub and quickly become friends. Both attended private schools on scholarships where they felt out of place, and both are trying to make a living through art. Their friendship gradually becomes a romance rooted in music, conversation, and mutual trust. When constant police scrutiny and personal grief weigh on the photographer, he withdraws into isolation. That silence threatens to undo the bond they built.
