Yet Lipska writes clearly, without crafting linguistic puzzles. Her language is lucid, minimalist, and everyday. This succinctness is especially noticeable when she adopts internet vernacular. In an interview, she dubbed poetry a 'dietary supplement for intellectuals', and since they dislike pre-packaged solutions, 'Czytnik...' is a record of uncertainty and searching—a trail beside a path, not an asphalt highway.
adb on Lubimyczytać In 'Czytnik linii papilarnych', the author unlocked the key to: giving everyday things elegance; illuminating the obvious with a divine spark; teasing out life moments concealed within collective hypersensitivities; and crafting mysticism using accessible, ordinary means of expression. I don't think a poet can go any further... Bravo! Thank you.
różaJerycho on Lubimyczytać My latest encounter with Ewa Lipska and another poetic feast. This time appreciation is due for: beautiful impressions concerning loneliness and the passage of time; references to internet language that fit the poems astonishingly well; descriptions of journeys bringing no solace; poems about love, including late, mature love; and as always, beautiful metaphors.
