A collection of five short stories centered on ordinary routines: reading, eating meals, listening to music, and casual conversations. The Polish title is a phonetic pun on Gabriel Fauré's piano suite Cinq pièces brèves. Published in 1998, the collection was nominated for Poland's 1999 Nike Literary Award.
