This movie was made in the early 2000s about the generation of young people of the early nineties who found themselves caught in the millstones of shifting values during their formative years. The departing yet formidable Soviet past gives way to a predatory and equally fierce market reality. And amidst this whirlwind of events are kids in their 'tender age,' out of whom nearly anything can still be shaped.
Кузькин отец on Otzovik I have watched Sergei Solovyov's film "Tender Age" many times. Funnily enough, when I first saw it I was 13–14 years old and didn't understand a single thing, yet it enchanted me forever with its beautiful cinematography and music. I didn't grasp what the director meant at 16, 18, 20, or even 25... Only after truly growing up, when war broke out in Ukraine, could I fully appreciate this magnificent film. It is both tragic and hopeful at the same time.
izhoga on Otzovik A wonderful, kind film by Sergei Solovyov. I have watched it several times. Everything feels natural. The author loves his characters. Beautiful music by Enri Lolashvili in the film. And of course the BG song at the end.
