The Father

After working in the city following his father's death, a fourteen-year-old Iranian boy returns home to discover his mother has remarried a local policeman. Stricken by grief and resentment, the rebellious adolescent vehemently rejects his new stepfather until a perilous journey through the desert forces them to confront one another.
