Izulu LamiAfter their mother passes away and their aunt abandons them, ten-year-old Thembi and her younger brother Khwezi travel from their rural KwaZulu-Natal village to Durban. Carrying only a traditional Zulu craft mat woven by their mother, the two orphaned siblings must navigate the harsh realities of city life and rely on each other to survive on the streets.

10/10 This made me cry. I felt like I was with them throughout their journey, when they got lost, got into trouble and all. Beautiful film, that little girl is soo smart and creative, she actually reminds me of my older sister. Sometimes I got mad at the siblings for their decisions, but I couldn't stay mad. This one was personal.
