Ford v Ferrari

• Ford v Ferrari caters to both motorsport enthusiasts and general audiences, pleasing both sides. I recommend it to the whole family; it's a great true story, the actors perform very well, and the action scenes are fantastic.

• The runtime exceeds two and a half hours, yet I never felt bored or bogged down; the pacing is handled exceptionally well. The family storyline of protagonist Ken Miles is portrayed with real depth, and the heartfelt, warm interactions between father and son indirectly inspire a deep reverence for the craft of automotive engineering.

• Le Mans '66 (Ford v Ferrari originally) is a return to those Hollywood blockbusters that combined spectacle and commercial cinema with award-season quality. And it achieves this not only through the action and editing of the races, which are superb and spectacular, but through the very concept of the film itself.

• Papamichael's cinematography is remarkably vivid and bold, working hand in hand with the director's tight close-ups, long takes, and expansive wide shots, which bring the viewer right into the race alongside the protagonists. The production design is also fantastic, faithfully recreating the tracks where the grand finale and numerous trials take place.

• Unbelievable with what precision and sense of tension and atmosphere this film is made. You can practically smell it, every minute of this masterpiece feels so crisp. It could easily have been 30 minutes longer.
