Marie's Story

In late 19th-century France, fourteen-year-old Marie Heurtin, born deaf and blind, is admitted to the Larnay Institute unable to communicate with the world. A devoted young nun, Sister Marguerite, sees her inner spark and tirelessly works through patience and sign language to bring her out of isolation.
