Two Women

In Tehran during the early 1980s, architecture students Fereshteh and Roya become close friends while studying at university. When an obsessive stalker follows Fereshteh to Isfahan and causes a fatal crash, her conservative father pulls her from school. To resolve the resulting legal trouble, she agrees to marry Ahmad, who promises to support her studies. Instead, he isolates her from friends and books, locking her into domestic life until her past catches up with them years later.
