The Embassy Siege

Reconstructing the 61-day siege of the Dominican Republic Embassy in Bogotá by M-19 guerrillas in 1980, this political drama traces the high-stakes negotiations between hostage-takers, foreign diplomats, and the Colombian government. Interweaving dramatic reenactments with archival footage, the film examines the psychological bonds and moral compromises forged during two months of captivity.
