Drunkard Morning

In early twentieth-century Tehran, an aristocratic young woman named Mahboubeh rejects her family's social standing to marry Rahim, a working-class carpenter's apprentice. Bound by conflicting worlds, she must confront the rigid realities of class divide, domestic disillusionment, and the painful consequences of her defiance.
