9mm: São Paulo, a crime miniseries. I only watched about 4 episodes when it came out, but it was really cool. I'll see if I can find where to watch the rest...
vitoreiji on Reddit The police precinct is one of the primary settings of 9mm: São Paulo, serving as the hub for research and investigations. The production also filmed across genuine São Paulo locations such as the Moinho, Paraisópolis, and Real Parque favelas, Luz Station, and the Santa Efigênia neighborhood. Consequently, the setting heightens the show's verisimilitude by capturing authentic urban environments and depicting the daily reality of police work both on the streets and inside the station.
From Observatório da Qualidade no Audiovisual FOX's first Brazilian series features stylish editing reminiscent of foreign drama/thriller productions (like the series 24 and Paul Greengrass's Jason Bourne films). A tense atmosphere providing a grounded feel that doesn't seem forced like other domestic productions. It makes strong use of the camera, much like films such as Elite Squad.
A. J. Ryckz on Santuário do Mestre Ryu Best police series I have ever watched. But it has to keep airing, it can't stop showing on television, loved it.
wagner on TV Cinema e Música I found the series very good. I especially liked the script and the cinematography. As for the acting and directing, I think it could have had better people, but nothing that takes away too many points from the series.
