A very pleasant surprise! I was rather skeptical about a biopic series, especially from a French Netflix production, but hats off because the result is remarkably neat! It is very well acted; Laurent Lafitte and Joséphine Japy truly carry the show. The directing ideas are excellent, as are the period sets.
