Tunç Ayna

• Ferruh Tunç's book Tunç Ayna also stands as a rejection of the poetry trend that dominated the nineties and collapsed by the mid-2000s. Highly astonishing to the reader, utterly original, uninfluenced by anyone, and borrowing not a single image, this poetry carries narrative into epic heights. Tunç Ayna is an extraordinary poetry collection where every page is opened with genuine excitement, intoxicating the reader and taking them soaring into endless depths.

• In search of the authentic, Ferruh Tunç encounters linguistic treasures that were once earned but frayed over time, boldly absorbing their brilliance into his poetry. He continues his journey in this valley—one few poets dare traverse—without ever falling into hollow rhetoric. Tunç and mirror metaphors, stemming from themes and the poet's name, give the book its title Tunç Ayna, which it rightfully deserves. Ferruh Tunç's Tunç Ayna showcases the poet's vast atlas and the maturity of our poetry.

• Ferruh Tunç is one of the fine poets of our time. His poetry demands cultural grounding, and as a reader, you must invest effort to fully penetrate it. But do not let that intimidate you; these are not playful verses strung together for mere poetastering. He crafts his poems with the meticulous precision of a jeweler. Unsuspected lines conceal allusions to masters, veiled motifs, and luminous images—each a firework. His poetry is like a rich ore deposit, bursting with insights.
