• It is quite a beautiful book, infused with imagination and the art of storytelling. However, I strongly recommend listening to these poems read aloud in the author's own voice. There is something in Fabián Espejel's recitation style that turns it into an oral adventure, much like when an old friend or a grandfather tells you an incredible tale of ships and seas.

• I don't know how to explain it; it's one of those books you read once in a while that convinces you that the whiteness at the end of the world was real, that the sun reflected on the ice is as genuine as the sun itself. And that we will always live exposed to the elements. That cold is the only constant.

• Very surprising. A book that was evidently crafted over a long time and intensely, with obsessive devotion. There is no shortage of moments where Fabián's pen reaches remarkable heights. Despite not being the kind of poetry I usually read and love, I cannot help but acknowledge that it is a magnificent book.
