A Dragonfly Enlarged to the Size of a Dog

In a provincial Ural city during the post-Soviet transition, an overbearing former teacher and her adult daughter live trapped in an isolated, claustrophobic domestic world devoid of men. Bound by toxic codependency, repressed resentment, and relentless mutual surveillance, their daily routines and petty grievances are distorted through an obsessive psychological lens, magnifying ordinary life into something grotesque and monstrous.
