Silence of the Abyss

Set against the rugged limestone plateaus of Hà Giang, the series follows Vừ, a diligent young H'Mông man, and Súa, a spirited woman whose deep love for him is challenged by poverty and entrenched traditions. When a wealthy suitor kidnaps Súa under the customary practice of wife-pulling, both lovers are thrown into profound suffering, confronting forced matrimony, societal expectations, and an enduring struggle for freedom.
