• In Tore we meet the profoundly insecure young man Tore who, despite being 27, still lives at home with his father Bosse. When he loses his father in a tragicomic accident, the introverted Tore is forced to take control of his own life. The gay, unkissed virgin takes refuge in the dark of night clubs, alcohol, drugs, and casual encounters. The series offers many genuinely charming scenes.

• The greatest strength of the series is without question William Spetz's performance, impressing with both sharp humor and convincing grief. The show rarely leans into over-the-top comedy, focusing more on the drama, but when there is room for a joke it is genuinely funny—often delivered as an acid-tongued remark with impeccable timing. Linn is also a standout, with her almost unhinged efforts to reconnect with Tore.
