A hit with audiences and critics alike, Justiça was one of the best Brazilian television productions in recent times. By avoiding commonplaces and the predictability of easy clichés, so frequent in telenovelas, the miniseries proved to be remarkably rich in substance—its greatest strength—prompting reflection on the fine line separating subjective justice from revenge.
Nilson Xavier on Teledramaturgia 'Justiça' has proven to be a top-quality production, living up to what was promised in its teasers. Manuela Dias's miniseries, directed with brilliance by José Luiz Villamarim, is one of the best productions of 2016, living up to every praise received over its four weeks on air. And the stellar cast is one of the key reasons behind the success of this remarkably real and gripping storyline.
Sérgio Santos on De Olho Nos Detalhes The idea of creating parallel plots with crossing characters is not new. But 'Justiça', a drama by Manuela Dias directed by José Luiz Villamarim, stands out for its narrative architecture—an intricate interplay of scenes viewed and revisited from distinct angles in each episode, consistently adding an unsuspected layer to the plot.
Silas Martí on Folha de S.Paulo A very striking series. An era when Globo released heavy-caliber series and miniseries.
Joacélio Vales da Frota on Teledramaturgia This series gave me chills, every storyline was interesting. I didn't miss an episode. Manuela Dias won me over with this project.
