On Raimundo Domínguez's birthday, his seventeen-year-old daughter Elisa goes to a nightclub with her cousins and disappears. Police detective Camilo Rivas leads the search. Questioning of family members and friends soon exposes infidelity, financial deceit, and long-standing grudges within the prominent Santiago household.
