When the bodies of seven teenagers wash ashore in an apparent mass suicide, 119-year-old cop Darius Asram investigates. He recruits Christa Novak, a young woman previously imprisoned for membership in a suicide cult, to help infiltrate an underground youth movement rejecting eternal life.
