While watching Çukur, I often found myself comparing it to shows like Peaky Blinders and films like The Godfather. All three focus on family-based crime structures, loyalty, territory, and powerful male leaders. However, what makes Çukur different is its emotional intensity and strong neighborhood identity.
Ill_Charity_9739 on Reddit This series is extraordinary; I just finished episode 427, the finale. It is wonderful and has everything: tears, laughter, suspense, mafia, love, great lessons in loyalty and devotion to family... and more. The finale is deeply emotional and beautiful; every single episode was worth it. EXCELLENT ACTORS.
@yuritzagarcia1234 on YouTube A really good show,it’s very rare that you see a show with 4 seasons and it’s still good,I think what made cukur so special is the characters had their own personalities and stories, the cozy family and uniting vibe, how we never felt like it was yamacs story alone.
bnbb1 on Reddit Best Turkish show but… too many deaths and right when we thought we were in the clear. But great writing, great character growth and perfect music.
Wolfimama on Reddit So i will tell you the main quality i saw in Yamaç. When he is angry with someone who betrayed him, hurt him, tried to killed him, etc, he remembers all the good things that person did. Not many people do that. Even in his deepest anger his sense of justice is unaltered. Of course, that does not apply to some of his enemies who cross a certain line
