Family Ties

In Rio de Janeiro's coastal Leblon district, an independent aesthetics clinic owner willingly yields her relationship with a younger doctor when her adult daughter falls hopelessly in love with him. When her daughter is later diagnosed with leukemia, the mother embarks on an agonizing moral sacrifice to save her life.
