• It instantly entered the ranks of my all-time favorite American TV shows. If Season 1 was four stars and Season 2 was five stars, this final season deserves ten stars—it's that flawless! The production values are entirely cinematic, and the writing is packed with astonishingly bold creativity. Whether veering into bizarre absurdity or pitch-black comedy, it always anchors itself in staggering emotional power. Every single episode transcends and reinvents expectations; Lindelof has finally scaled the storytelling heights he never quite reached with Lost.

• And let's face it: that is precisely where all the beauty, intelligence, and creativity of The Leftovers lies. Tom Perrotta wants to show us what the consequences of the Rapture would be, not its causes. And he accomplishes that brilliantly.

• To be honest, when I watched the first few episodes of Season 1, I wondered if it wasn't my kind of show and even thought about dropping it. But sticking with it all the way led to a wonderful finale that made me so glad I watched it and saw it through to the end. Through Kevin, Nora, Laurie, Matt, and so many other wonderful characters, it was a deeply flavorful story of human life.

• Bravo, bravo, and bravo. With a breathtaking story, masterly characters, and unforgettable music, The Leftovers clearly establishes itself as the best series of all time. It's a show that doesn't leave you unscathed and makes you reflect on many subjects: belief, love, grief, truth... The series is paced to perfection with a finale that will stay etched in memory. Thank you.

• At the center of events, however, was primarily the couple played by Justin Theroux and Carrie Coon, who delivered some of the show's most memorable moments thanks to intelligent scripts and extraordinarily effective direction.
