In the Johannesburg township of Diepsloot, four young women turn to burglary to survive under the control of local kingpin Elliot Mgedeza. When a heist goes wrong and her younger brother is killed, crew leader Nox serves five years in prison. Upon release, she returns home to an unforgiving mother and an alcoholic father, struggling to leave crime behind as family debt and neighborhood entanglements pull her back.
